New CCH Mobile App Features to Connect, Collaborate, Grow Easier
(RIVERWOODS, ILL., December 23, 2013) – With a new tax season right around the corner, professionals relying on CCH Mobile™ for quick connections to research and client data on-the-go can now literally search for information without lifting a finger. New, premium features that are included with subscriptions to IntelliConnect®, the industry’s most powerful research platform, include voice-recognition and read-back technology, drag and drop functionality and more.
Advanced features that are easily accessible by downloading the CCH Mobile app on Apple iPad®, iPhone® as well as Android™ and Kindle Fire HD devices include:
- New voice-recognition, read-back ability – Now users can search for answers by telling CCH Mobile what they need. Through voice commands, users can instantly pinpoint specific content, such as searching for IRC section numbers and by speaking simple phrases. The app’s new voice can even read back the latest CCH Tax News Highlights and other content – convenient listening on mobile devices, especially when traveling.
- New customization features – It’s easy to customize the CCH Mobile home screen by adding tax trackers, favorites and research folders. And now, items can be dragged and dropped anywhere on the screen to create a truly customized experience. Users also can create custom pages with specific resources, save and even create their own CCH Smart Charts™ as well as add notes and highlights to documents (currently available on Apple devices).
- New offline access – By saving news and entire research to their mobile device’s PDF document reader, users can access content anytime, even without an Internet connection.
Through the CCH Mobile app, users can also stay connected with clients and colleagues by emailing information wherever and whenever they may be.
