CCH Offers Timely, New Webinar: Tax Treatment of Casualty and Disaster Losses

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., November 9, 2012) – With the cleanup under way in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, CCH is offering a webinar, Tax Treatment of Casualty and Disaster Losses, to help professionals provide tax relief to clients who suffered devastating losses. This two-hour online CPE webinar will be held on Thursday, November 15 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. It will provide participants with practical guidance and advice on how disasters such as Sandy affect clients' tax returns; an understanding of the reporting and substantiation requirements; and the very latest developments from the IRS in the area of casualty losses. The program will be presented by highly-regarded tax practitioner and educator, Steve Siegel, JD, LLM.
