(RIVERWOODS, ILL., September 1, 2011) – Three CCH leaders have been named by prominent tax and accounting publication, The CPA Practice Advisor, as among the top in the profession in their annual list of the nation’s “ Top 40 under 40,” recognizing young leaders who are positively shaping the tax and accounting industry. CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business is the leading provider of tax, accounting and audit information, software and services (CCHGroup.com).
The CPA Practice Advisor selected 40 professionals, under the age of 40, based on their current leadership in and around the field of public accounting, and for the role they appear ready to assume in guiding the profession into the future. Among the 2011 honorees are Robert Baumann, CCH Chief Architect of ProSystem fx SaaS; Robin Penney, CCH Technical Product Manager; and Jarvis Soeda, CCH Manager, Training & Consulting.
As Chief Architect for CCH’s ProSystem fx SaaS Suite, Robert Baumann was honored for being instrumental in guiding numerous technology decisions for the innovative new offering. Robin Penney was recognized for her accomplishments as Design Manager at CCH, where she was responsible for the design and implementation of enhancements of cutting-edge applications that significantly improved the productivity and efficiency of accounting and audit practitioners, including the award-winning application, ProSystem fx Knowledge Coach.
Jarvis Soeda, a 10-year veteran of CCH, was honored for helping hundreds of firms, from sole accounting practitioners to those in the nation’s top 10 to become more efficient and effective using CCH applications within their firm. He has been dedicated to the training, consulting, learning and development needs of accounting professionals nationwide. As Manager of CCH’s Training & Consulting Team, Soeda provides training and consulting services for award-winning products, including: ProSystem fx Products, CCH Products and CCH Learning & Development Academy – School of Audit Programs.
“We’re proud that three of our top professionals have been recognized with this honor,” said CCH President & CEO Mike Sabbatis. “The CCH team consists of the very best and brightest employees around and Jarvis, Robin and Robert are great examples of those making a real difference in the industry.”
“These 40 professionals are among the most dedicated to developing and applying innovative and creative approaches to solving practice needs,” said The CPA Practice Advisor Executive Editor M.
