Bruce Nelson, MA, CPA, is the author of CCH Expert Treatise Library: State Sales and Use Taxation and a practicing tax expert. He is currently with the firm Ehrhardt, Keefe, Steiner and Hoffman, PC.

Previously, Nelson was with the law firm of Silverstein & Pomerantz and also served in state government as the Manager of Tax Policy for Colorado. He was also a Senior Tax Manager with Ernst & Young, where he ran the state and local tax desk.

In addition, he is a frequent seminar speaker, teaches CPE classes on state and local tax and has earned tenure as an adjunct professor at Regis University. Nelson has published more than 40 articles in various publications.
