IntelliForms™ from CCH Offers Comprehensive, Time-saving Array of Forms
(RIVERWOODS, ILL., October 22, 2009) – Now there’s a new and comprehensive, easy to use source of forms for tax professionals from CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business and a leading provider of tax, accounting and audit information, software and services (CCHGroup.com). IntelliForms provides over 20,000 federal, state and local forms and instructions with real-time updates.
The number of forms and instructions available reflect an increased number of sales and use tax forms as well as expanded sets of nonprofit and financial and estate planning forms over previous CCH forms packages.
“This vast array of forms is a convenience for any professional who needs a cost-effective and efficient solution for accessing tax forms across a broad range of tax types and jurisdictions,” said CCH Product Manager Emily Hartnell.
Real-time updates means that every time a form is opened, the software checks to see if a more recent version is available.
“This takes guesswork out of the process and eliminates time-wasting checking by the user to make sure everything is up to date,” Hartnell said.
Convenient Organization
IntelliForms provides several different tabs to conveniently organize forms. The Blank Forms Manager tab lists all the forms available in a subscription and is easily searchable. The Profiles tab stores client profiles.
All client forms for a single year are stored together and can be accessed easily from a Client Forms tab, organized by client.
“IntelliForms was created by listening to our customers. For example, they said they preferred client-based organization, so we developed a file management platform that works the way they do.” Hartnell said.
Designed to Save Time
IntelliForms is also designed to save valuable time for busy practitioners.
For professionals who want to get a head start on filing, draft forms are available on IntelliForms. Data entered on a draft version of a form will carry to the final version of the form upon its release.
IntelliForms also saves time when a form requires completion of a worksheet, because data from a worksheet transfers to its related form.
IntelliForms provides instant access from each form to the relevant section of official instructions for that form. In addition, IntelliForms links directly from commonly used federal forms to explanatory, compliance-focused research content in the CCH Tax Prep Partner Series™ that’s related to the linked form field.
IntelliForms includes interactive versions of forms for 2005 to the present. Also included as part of each IntelliForms subscription is access to an online library of forms in PDF format going back to 1998.
