CCH Offers Productivity Consulting for ProSystem fx Suite and CCH Research Products

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., October 14, 2009) – Now there’s a way for accounting firms to make the most of their investments in their own employees and in CCH software, with Productivity Consulting from CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business and a leading provider of tax, accounting and audit information, software and services (CCHGroup.com).

Productivity Consulting for the ProSystem fx Suite and CCH Research Products is an intense review of how firms are utilizing CCH software and research, leading to an in-depth analysis of where they stand and what they need to do to get the most out of the employees and technologies they have in place.

“Firms adopt software to become more efficient, but as years pass they may not keep up with the best ways to maintain them and ensure new features are being implemented into their workflows,” said CCH Senior Manager, Training and Consulting, Rhett Molitor. “Firms that go through this comprehensive efficiency analysis will see immediate gains and develop confidence that they will be maximizing their investment in CCH software and research solutions and in making sure their staff are as efficient as possible throughout the upcoming busy season.”

On-site Interviews, Deployment Plans

The Productivity Consulting analysis includes web-based and on-site meetings, with three of the days spent observing existing workflows and interviewing individuals in all areas of the firm; from tax, audit, administrative and IT and from staff, senior, manager and partner levels.

Firms receive a “Performance Report” ranking where they stand on critical success factors: Technical Expertise; Communication; Strategic Thinking; Adaptive Organizational Structure; Training and Best Practices. CCH will assess these factors on a product-by-product level as well as an accumulated firm score.

They also receive a list of immediate efficiency gains – quick hits the firm can implement immediately with little or no follow-up training or consulting – as well as a recommended deployment plan – recommendations that may require follow-up training and/or consulting.

“What this really does is refocus the firm on the gains they were looking for when they first adopted our software solutions and give them a roadmap to the very latest, best ways of achieving those gains,” Molitor said.
