CCH’s Online Global Capital Markets Library Enhanced to Provide Fast Access to Timely, Critical Cross-border Information

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., May 12, 2008) – The increasing pace of global market activity heightens the need for ready access to essential international securities regulatory and policy information. To help professionals stay current with fast-changing and complex policies, and make more informed decisions in cross-border transactions, CCH has introduced new features and enhancements to its Global Capital Markets Library on the CCH Internet Research NetWork™. CCH, a leading provider of securities law information, is part of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business.

The CCH Global Capital Markets Internet Library provides legal practitioners with an unprecedented global Internet database of securities laws and regulations from around the world.

“For any company or individual whose sphere of responsibility includes international securities or cross-border transactions, the Global Capital Markets Internet Library is a must-have tool,” said Product Manager Peggy Hayner. “And now, it’s better than ever.”

Global Capital Markets Library has been redesigned to focus country coverage on the geographic areas in highest demand, including Australia, Canada, European Union, United Kingdom and United States. Additionally, the United Kingdom link features full content from the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and the United States link now includes SEC International Releases.

Other enhancements to the Library include content from the international bodies of the Committee of European Securities Regulators, the International Organization of Securities Commissions and the Basel Accord. Two new analytic treatises are also now part of the Library – the International Securities Law Handbook, 2nd edition and European Securities Regulation as well as a monthly newsletter, Hedge Funds and Private Equity Regulatory & Risk Management Update.

The Library also includes numerous other critical materials including: the International Securities and Accounting Update newsletter, Capital Markets Handbook, 6th edition; and U.S. Regulation of the International Securities and Derivatives Markets, 8th edition. Convenient gateway links to China Law and Kluwer Law International publications have been retained, and the Library now also includes a handy link to Jim Hamilton’s World of Securities Regulation blog. Finally, the Finding Lists links have been renamed “Directory,” as it contains a directory of international securities regulators.
