Business Incentives Navigator from CCH Focuses in on Relevant Business Breaks
(RIVERWOODS, ILL., November 15, 2007) – Now, there is a powerful web-based tool for professionals to identify the myriad tax credits and other incentives available in each state from CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business and a leading provider of tax, accounting and audit information, software and services (CCHGroup.com). Business Incentives Navigator on the CCH Tax Research NetWork™ streamlines the search for applicable incentives and gives the user a head start in securing them.
“It’s simply not efficient for a professional to research relevant credits and incentives from scratch,” said Angela Darrow, CCH product manager. “With the Business Incentives Navigator, we’ve made it simple to find the ones that are relevant to a particular jurisdiction or industry, and present them in a concise and useful format.”
Featuring the Smart Chart database functionality, Business Incentives Navigator provides multi-jurisdictional information on all state incentives – both statewide and location-based. Covered incentives include those applicable to income, property and sales and use taxes, as well as enterprise zones and non-tax financial incentives.
Designed for Ease of Use
The Business Incentives Navigator is designed for ease of use. Users simply select an industry, an incentive category (such as investment, jobs creation, research and development) and geographic considerations (such as statewide or location-based incentives). Then they choose one or more jurisdictions. The results are instantly provided and include a description of the incentive, the application procedures and filing requirements plus contact information and links to more detailed information for deeper understanding.
“The Smart Chart format makes the results easy to understand and easy to share,” Darrow noted.
Subscribers to the Business Incentives Guide will also see links to CCH explanations. A subscription includes regular updates so that users work with the most current information plus CCH Tax Tracker News to keep them advised of new developments.
