CCH Presents Audio Seminar: 401(k) Automatic Enrollment – It’s Not Your Parents’ Retirement Plan

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., June 5, 2007) – To help 401(k) plan administrators and fiduciaries thinking about adding an automatic enrollment feature to their 401(k) plan, CCH is presenting an audio seminar entitled, 401(k) Automatic Enrollment – It’s Not Your Parents’ Retirement Plan, Tuesday, June 19, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Eastern. Two expert speakers, Phyllis Klein and Joan McDonagh, will lay out what companies must do to make 401(k) automatic enrollment work. About the Speakers

Phyllis Klein has spent 20 years working with retirement plan design and servicing in primarily the defined contribution area. For the last three years, she has been part of the Senior Management Team of CAPTRUST Financial Advisors, which provides investment consulting and advisory services to over 400 retirement plans and their participants. As the Managing Director of Professional Services, she has responsibility for the services that CAPTRUST delivers including employee education and advice. She works closely with Plan Sponsors and their committees in designing appropriate communication, education and advice programs for their participants. Klein holds the Series 6, 63 and 65 licenses as well as the AIF and PRP industry designations. Klein also is an active member of the ASPPA 401(k) Sales and Marketing Summit’s Steering Committee.

Joan McDonagh joined EMJAY Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Great-West Life & Annuity, in 1988. McDonagh received a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in 1985 and subsequently practiced law in the employee benefits area. Her areas of expertise include ERISA compliance, with an emphasis on fiduciary requirements. McDonagh is a member of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin and American Bar Associations and participates in the Tax Section and the Employee Benefits Committee, Subcommittee on Fiduciary Responsibility of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. She is on the Legislative Affairs Committee of ASPPA and is past Vice-President of Wisconsin Retirement Plan Professionals, Ltd. She has written numerous articles on fiduciary issues related to qualified plan operation. She is a co-author of the 401(k) Answer Book in the Aspen Publishers Answer Book Series. McDonagh has presented seminars on various ERISA and 401(k) topics for ASPPA, the Wisconsin Bar Association and the International Foundation of Employee Benefits.

How the Audio Seminar Works

CCH’s live audio seminars require only a telephone connection. For the $249 per-site fee, an unlimited number of listeners at a site can participate and get up to speed and in-the-know on this important topic. Early bird registration before June 12 is available at a reduced per-site fee of $199.

Earn CE Credit

This audio seminar is designed to meet the CE requirements of the ASPPA CE program and qualifies for 2 CE credits. ASPPA members should report this audio seminar to ASPPA using the non-ASPPA-sponsored CE guidelines and tools located at www.asppa.org. In addition, ASPPA members should print out and keep in their files (1) a copy of the site registration confirmation and (2) a hard copy of the presentation materials. This program also has been designed to meet the CE requirements of the NIPA CE program and qualifies for 2 CE credit. NIPA CE credit is earned only by attending the live audio conference.
