CCH to Offer Audio Seminars for CPE Credit Every Thursday
(RIVERWOODS, ILL., March 26, 2007) – For accounting firms and corporate tax and accounting departments looking for an effective way to educate and train staff on critical tax and accounting topics and provide their licensed professional employees with CPE credits, CCH has a simple and convenient solution. CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business and a leading provider of tax, audit and accounting information, software and services, is now offering live two-hour audio seminars on a wide variety of relevant topics every Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Eastern (CCHGroup.com).
“Our weekly audio seminars are a popular and convenient way for busy tax and accounting professionals to stay current with new developments, gain valuable insights and meet CPE requirements,” said Joe Gornick, CCH Audio Seminars senior manager. “The sessions put practitioners directly in touch with top experts discussing timely topics with bottom-line implications, and they do it all in a cost-effective way.”
With CCH audio seminars now taking place every week, on the same day and at the same hour, it’s now easier than ever for professionals to set aside time to attend. More than 50 CCH programs are planned for 2007.
Unlimited Listeners
The two-hour audio seminars are provided on a site license basis, allowing firms and businesses to have an unlimited number of people participate and listen in at any one site for a flat fee of $249 per seminar.
“Firms can invite their clients, prospects, business referral sources and colleagues to sit in on sessions of special interest, with no extra charge,” Gornick noted. Individuals who want to receive a CPE certificate for their participation can do so for a nominal additional fee of $25 per person.
Upcoming seminars include “2007 Transfer Pricing Issues Tax Directors Should Be Thinking About” (March 29) and “It's Not Too Late: Location-based Credits for 2006 Tax Returns” (April 5).
“We aim for a mix of topics, covering a range of important tax and accounting issues – all of which practitioners can enjoy from the comfort and convenience of their own offices, with no travel costs or lost time,” Gornick said.
