CCH Now Offers Seamless Integration of Sales Tax Solutions with Sage Accounting Systems
(RIVERWOODS, ILL., August 23, 2006) – CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, now offers Sales Tax Load Utilities for Sage Software integrating CCH supplied sales and use tax rates with leading Sage accounting systems, including MAS 90, MAS 200, MAS 500 and Accpac, saving users time while ensuring easy and accurate sales tax compliance. CCH is a leading provider of tax and accounting information, software and services (CCHGroup.com).
CCH’s Sales Tax Load Utilities eliminate the need for tax managers to track and manually update tax rates within their Sage accounting systems. With just a few mouse clicks, users can download monthly rate change information and load it directly into their accounting system tax tables. The CCH rate for 950 categories across 8,000 jurisdictions are then used by any module that normally accesses the tax tables. The Sales Tax Load Utilities allow users to leverage their accounting systems’ existing tax calculation capabilities for cost-effective sales and use compliance.
“With CCH’s Sales TAX Load Utilities for Sage Software, end users and Sage Value Added Resellers (VARs) alike benefit from dealing with the recognized authority in tax. Our integrations can save hours of work by allowing an accounting department to manage sales tax for all its customers and products with a single tax schedule,” said Bruce Krumlauf , CCH sales and use tax product manager.
“Users can activate, install and put their new tools to use with Sage solutions in minutes – without programming assistance from IT or user training. And VARs don’t need to bring in other third parties to supply sales tax solutions to their customers, because we build and support our own software,” Krumlauf added.
Committed to Systems for Small, Medium Businesses
The integration with Sage systems which are now available for interested beta users follows the release earlier this year of integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP®, Microsoft Dynamics AX®, Microsoft Dynamics SL® and Microsoft Dynamics NAV® products.
“We’re fully committed to providing integration with the most widely used accounting systems for small and medium businesses,” Krumlauf said.
Compliance Without the Burden
Sage Software users and VARs can realize end-to-end compliance by coupling the Sales Tax Load Utilities with CCH’s ZipSales Returns web-based compliance solution which automates the preparation of monthly sales tax returns. With ZipSales Returns, users can cut the amount of time they spend on end-of-month sales tax compliance from several days down to a couple of hours.
