CCHKnowledgePoint’s Performance Impact Workplace Named Top Ten Product For 2003
Easy-to-Use Performance Management Solution Stands Out From the Pack, Delivers "Real Value to the Marketplace"
(PETALUMA, CALIF., January 8, 2004) — Performance Impact Workplace, CCHKnowledgePoint’s new LAN-based performance management solution for small- to mid-sized employers, has been named one of 2003’s top ten HR products by Human Resource Executive magazine. CCHKnowledgePoint (www.knowledgepoint.com) is a leading developer of human resources solutions.
Described by Human Resource Executive as "extremely intuitive and rich in features," Performance Impact Workplace helps employers ensure that their managers are using the same standards and guidance to consistently focus employee performance on agreed upon competencies and business results. Leveraging intelligent software tools and expert advice, the program also helps time-strapped managers be more efficient and effective in managing employee performance.
And, Performance Impact Workplace gives employers access to the full functionality of a powerful performance management system without significant expense. With this Windows-based solution, organizations will benefit from a best-practices program that is easy to select, implement and own.
"Performance Impact Workplace already carries the strong endorsement of thousands of highly-satisfied employers and frontline managers who use this and other CCHKnowledgePoint performance management tools today," said Ian Alexander, CCHKnowledgePoint president. "To be recognized as a top product in the industry by one of the profession’s leading publications is further evidence that we deliver unparalleled value and results."
"Top of the Line" Performance Impact Workplace Brings Best Practices to Busy Managers
Performance Impact Workplace was designed to meet the special needs of small- to mid-sized businesses, providing employers with one to 1,000 employees with a total performance management system needed to drive top performance — without having to invest in expensive and complicated IT overhead.
Human Resource Executive notes that CCHKnowledgePoint "has done a fine job of addressing" these organizations’ needs. Recognized as "Top of the Line," Performance Impact Workplace "addresses just about every aspect " of the performance management process, says Human Resource Executive.
Performance Impact Workplace possesses many of the features of CCHKnowledgePoint’s flagship performance management system, Performance Impact Enterprise, providing a consistent process for setting and tracking goals, assessing performance, facilitating manager-employee communication and identifying and retaining top performers. It also features robust reporting capabilities to provide senior management with relevant employee performance data for use in enterprise strategic planning.
From writing performance reviews and providing employees with meaningful feedback, to aligning staff with organizational goals and presenting coaching ideas, Performance Impact Workplace contains features and functionality to help employers be more strategic in managing their workforces. Since the program’s user interface is modeled on Microsoft Outlook, managers will find Performance Impact Workplace to be an intuitive system that is easy to navigate and learn
Human Resource Executive specifically noted that users can also take advantage of helpful tools such as Intelli-text, which moves managers past the dreaded "blank page" syndrome; a language checker, which audits inappropriate or illegal word use; and automatic alerts.
Additionally, Performance Impact Workplace contains 55 behavioral-based competencies that have been used in thousands of organizations. Optional industry-specific competency modules also are available for the following industries: manufacturing, health care, finance, state and local government, law enforcement and corrections, call center and customer service, information technology, and fire and emergency services.
"In today’s competitive landscape, it’s important for businesses to leverage best practices across every discipline in their organization — whether sales, operations, service or human resources," said Alexander. "With user-friendly technology, Performance Impact Workplace puts HR best practices at the fingertips of busy managers to help them bring out the best in their people and drive the right business results."
