CCH Tax Compliance Names Grass To Lead New Business Development
(TORRANCE, CA., October 18, 2002) – CCH
Tax Compliance, the market-leading provider of tax and accounting
software, announced today that Karl Grass has been named Vice
President of Business Development. In his new role, Grass will focus
on furthering Tax Compliance’s growth and leadership in new and
existing markets through product and technology innovation.

strategic initiatives surrounding new business development," said
Tax Compliance President and CEO Kevin Robert. "We’re very

Most recently, Grass was responsible for all areas of Andersen’s
Tax Technology practice in the corporate market. Under his leadership,
the business broadened its product and service offerings, tripled its
revenues and successfully migrated through two major technology
shifts.
Prior to his role with Andersen, he was with the Price Waterhouse
Tax Technology Group where he led the Sales & Marketing
organization and held various other duties, including leadership of
West Region operations, fixed asset development and an internal joint
venture focused on HR and tax issues for expatriates. Grass also has
prior experience at CLR/Fast-Tax and co-founded one of the first
microcomputer tax software companies, Digital Alternatives, Inc., in
1984.
The 23-year veteran of the tax software industry is a resident of
Sarasota, Florida. Grass holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke
University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in
Accounting.
