CCH Financial Notebook Makes Financial Planners More Productive

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., September 12, 2002) – Financial planners have a new way to increase their productivity and deliver better customer service, according to CCH INCORPORATED (CCH), a leading provider of financial and estate planning information and software. Professionals who use CCH EnteractTM planning software now have access to the CCH Financial Notebook, a revolutionary new electronic client data-gathering tool. It provides an easy, convenient way to gather clients’ data and build better client relationships.

"Planners are least productive when they’re spending countless hours in information-gathering interviews, data entry and review time," said David Stitt, product manager of financial and estate planning in CCH’s Federal and State Tax Group. "The CCH Financial Notebook changes all that. Clients simply download the electronic Notebook application and complete it themselves on their personal computers," Stitt said.

Streamlined, Intuitive Process

Clients using the CCH Financial Notebook experience a streamlined process that is more intuitive and less time-consuming than being interviewed by planners who use traditional paper organizers. They follow prompts that yield accurate, comprehensive data. They can even flag areas of special concern and add personal comments for more in-depth discussion.

The planning professional simply imports the data from the Financial Notebook to CCH Enteract planning software. This means that professionals are better prepared and more productive during client meetings.
