ePaceENGAGEMENT™ Now ProSystem fx Engagement™ Integrates With CCH’s ProSystem fx Office; For Comprehensive, Paperless Audit & Trial Balance Solution

ProSystem fx Engagement streamlines tax and trial balance engagements and enables firms to increase efficiency by automating workpaper preparation, management and workflow within a state-of-the-art paperless engagement system. The name change better identifies the product as a member of The ProSystem fx Office, the industry-leading suite of tax and accounting products from CCH Tax Compliance (www.prosystemfx.com).

“Since the acquisition of ePace! Software last year, CCH has focused extensive resources on fine-tuning the ePaceENGAGEMENT application and fully leveraging the benefits of paperless technology,” said Kevin Robert, president and CEO of CCH Tax Compliance.

“We are rebranding Engagement now because it delivers ProSystem fx quality and is perfectly positioned to tightly integrate with other ProSystem fx Office modules,” Robert added.

Integrated with The ProSystem fx Office

ProSystem fx Engagement currently integrates with ProSystem fx Tax, the industry’s premier tax compliance system. ProSystem fx Engagement stores audit and tax engagement binders in a Windows Explorer-style file room, allowing users immediate access to electronic engagement binders whether working standalone, peer-to-peer or connected to the firm’s network.

Firms can import balances from ProSystem fx Engagement into ProSystem fx Tax and also export Adobe PDF files of completed returns from ProSystem fx Tax to clients’ engagement binders via an easy-to-use Wizard. Existing Microsoft Word and Excel workpapers and financial statements also can be incorporated into ProSystem fx Engagement binders with links to client, engagement and trial balance data.

Through this type of integration and seamless transfer of information, ProSystem fx Office users are able to streamline workflow and achieve a higher level of efficiency and profitability.
