Sabbatis To Lead Business Development At CCH Tax Compliance

(RIVERWOODS, IL, March 26, 2002) – CCH Tax Compliance, the market-leading provider of tax and accounting software, announced today that Mike Sabbatis has been named vice president of Business Development for CCH Tax Compliance.

"Mike brings to CCH extensive experience in our core businesses, as well as valued experience in products and markets where we expect to grow," said Kevin Robert, CCH Tax Compliance president and CEO. "He has demonstrated a level of passion and professionalism that will enhance our team as we continue to expand our leadership in technology innovation and integration."

Sabbatis was formerly vice president of Business Development and Strategic Accounts for Thomson Tax and Accounting (TTA) where he led business development initiatives, National Accounts, Corporate Key Accounts and Professional Service Key Accounts for the compliance, accounting and information lines of business. Most recently Sabbatis served as interim CMO for Advantage MOTI, a division of Datamatics, where he pioneered the launch of Business Process Outsourcing of accounting functions to professional service firms.

During his 20 years in the software, technology and information industries, Sabbatis has successfully led activities in sales, marketing, business development and consulting.

A vice president of Sales and Consulting (TTA and CLR), he was instrumental in the integration of CLR/Fasttax into the Thomson organization and he led the launch of the GoSystem RS and GoSystem Accounting Products lines of business for Computer Language Research. In addition, Sabbatis was a division sales manager and national account representative with CCH Computax, Inc.

A resident of Southlake, Tx., Sabbatis holds a bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University.
