Destination Site Now Provides Free, Fast Access to
IRS Code and Regs, Plus Wireless Access to Daily Tax News

In addition to being able to access the most current information on the redesigned web site, tax professionals will have wireless mobile access to CCH’s online information.

Also, the redesigned site offers several handy tax calculators, including three related to provisions of the recently enacted federal tax bill, and convenient front-page access to daily news.

The Internal Revenue Code available on the home page of http://tax.cchgroup.com is current, reflecting the recent passage of the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001. Visitors can access the Code and regulations by browsing through menus or by searching, including using an advanced search option that retrieves documents by citation.

"The Code contains the added value that CCH subscribers depend on, such as caution notes regarding effective dates and obsolete provisions. Sometimes a quick check of the IRC is all you need," said Ter Bush. Enhancements to the destination site also allow professionals to have wireless access to CCH’s timely daily news. Later this year, the company will expand on the service, providing mobile access to its CCH Internet Tax Research Network.
