New CCH Online Calculator Cuts Through Complexity Of Tax Law To Show 2001 Tax Relief

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., May 31, 2001) –Tax relief for this tax year under the recently passed Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 won’t necessarily end with a $300 or $600 tax rebate – the item that’s been mentioned most often – according to CCH INCORPORATED (CCH), a leading provider of tax law information and software. For simplicity’s sake, the calculator is not designed to deal with the Earned Income Tax Credit, refundability of child credits or the Alternative Minimum Tax.
