CCH, Execusite Alliance Delivers
Custom Tax Content To Accountants, Their Clients Via The Web
Agreement Allows Professionals to Realize Value of the Web
for Serving Clients, Expanding Practices
(LOS ANGELES, June 12, 2000) Further strengthening its commitment to
the delivery of superior professional information and Internet tools, CCH INCORPORATED
(CCH) today announced a content-licensing agreement with Execusite, Inc.
(www.execusite.com), the premier web site solution provider to accounting and tax
professionals. Under the agreement, tax professionals using Execusite services to build a
web site for their practices can tap into CCHs vast content on individual and
business tax issues and post this information on their own sites, delivering
authoritative, timely information to their clients.
CCH, a leading provider of tax and business law information and software, announced the
partnership today at the California Accounting and Business Show, Los Angeles Airport
Hilton. The agreement is effective July 1, 2000.
Tax stories and other content provided by CCH will be specifically geared toward the
needs of accounting and tax firm clients and written in non-technical, plain-English
style. CCHs team of tax and legal professionals who continuously track, report,
explain and analyze federal and state tax developments will develop the web-based
information. Accounting and tax firms can select from a variety of stories on both state
and federal tax topics, customizing the information to the specific needs of their client
base.
The agreement with Execusite brings a valuable, new e-commerce component to CCHs
established leadership in providing authoritative web-based content and tools for
accounting and legal professionals.
"CCHs goal is to provide relevant information to a firms practice and
highlight the practitioners commitment to staying current on the tax issues that
affect his or her clients," said Kevin Robert, publisher, CCH Federal and State Tax
Group. "Partnering with best-of-class Internet businesses such as
Execusite, were able to help professionals enhance the service and guidance they
provide to their clients."
The CCH content adds a valuable component to Execusites web site creation and
Hosting Services. Execusites services provide a turnkey solution allowing accounting
firms to build a site very quickly and easily and customize it to their particular areas
of focus.
"Our alliance with CCH highlights Execusites ongoing commitment to make
relevant and timely content available to accounting professionals for their web
sites," said Lance McCollough, CPA, a director and co-founder of Execusite.
"Integrating CCHs tax content into our customers web sites is a
tremendous value for our current and future Execusite members, and allows them to foster
quality service by keeping clients up-to-date on changes that could impact their tax
situations."
Many accountants are searching for effective ways to use their practices web site
more effectively and profitably. However, the resources for maintaining a current and
informative site are often limited, according to Robert.
"Providing clients with informative stories applicable to them is a way to bring
them back to a firms web site on a regular basis and is an important step for
illustrating a professionals value," said Robert. "This provides more
opportunities to market new or expanded services such as tax planning, financial
and retirement planning, payroll services, investment services and small business
consulting to current and prospective clients."
