Chamberbiz Teams With CCH INCORPORATED

Licensing Agreement Enables ChamberBiz to Tap CCH’s Wealth of Online
Small Office and Home Office Information

(Riverwoods, ILL., March 17, 2000) – CCH INCORPORATED (CCH), a leading provider of tax and business law information and software, today announced a content-licensing agreement with ChamberBiz (www.chamberbiz.com), a new Internet company serving small businesses, that will give ChamberBiz users access to the content and tools created by CCH’s Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) group. ChamberBiz has established a partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and is in the process of establishing partnerships with state and local chambers of commerce across the country. The CCH SOHO unit develops content for a wide range of Internet sites and operates the popular www.toolkit.cch.com site, which has been serving the small business market since 1995, and www.completetax.com, an Internet-based tax preparation site.

Content and capabilities licensed from CCH will be accessible to business users from either the ChamberBiz home page or the home pages of participating chambers.

As part of the agreement, ChamberBiz.com will license CCH’s online SOHO Guidebook content and interactive business tools. The SOHO Guidebook is a comprehensive resource business owners can rely on for all aspects of starting, running and growing a small business. It includes in-depth, fully searchable sections on business plans and financing, taxes, human resources, financial planning, marketing and general business law. CCH’s Business Tools offer step-by-step checklists, model business plans, simple contract forms and other business documents that small business owners can download and apply immediately to their business needs.
