CCH Perform Plus II Interactive Forms Now Delivered Via Net

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., February 1, 2000) – Reduced hardware requirements and ease of updating are just two of many advantages tax preparers and other professionals will enjoy this year when they access the forms they need over the Internet through CCH INCORPORATED (CCH), a leading provider of tax law information and software. Subscribers to libraries on CCH’s Internet-based Tax Research Network can now download forms whenever and wherever they need them with perform plus IIä interactive forms software.

"When subscribers access forms over the Internet, they aren’t restricted to using computers with CD-ROM readers. Now, they have around-the-clock availability of tax research and compliance information in one convenient location," said Janeen Kopale, marketing manager for CCH’s Federal and State Tax Group.

CCH perform plus II offers packages of interactive forms for federal and state taxes, plus a special set of financial and estate planning forms.

Calculated fields, such as totals, are filled in automatically. Form instructions are included, and users can call up tax tables or the form instructions for any line on a form instantly.

CCH perform plus II launches directly from the Tax Research Network tabs menu. But while the perform plus II forms are located within a secure, data- encrypted website, client data and saved forms reside on the user’s hard drive.

Availability and Pricing

Access to appropriate forms from perform plus II over the Internet is available with a subscription to CCH tax libraries.

Federal forms are available with all CCH Internet Federal Tax Libraries. State forms are available with all Internet State Tax Reporter subscriptions. Federal and state forms are available with the CCH Omintax Library and Power Libraries 1 and 2. Financial and estate planning forms are available with the CCH Internet Financial and Estate Planning Library. Subscribers to the Internet Accountant’s Library 1 have access to federal and state forms.
