More Information, Greater Depth Enhances CCH Mortgage Compliance Guide
Full-text Federal, State Laws, State Regulations Aid Legal Research
(Riverwoods, ILL., November 24, 1999) The CCH Mortgage
Compliance Guide, a convenient, electronic reference to states mortgage lending
requirements, is now available with the full text of state and federal laws and state
regulations, according to CCH INCORPORATED (CCH), a leading provider of tax
and business law information and software.
The CCH Mortgage Compliance Guide is a valuable tool for those who must
cut through the jungle of differing state laws and get straight to useful answers. Users
find particular value in the consistent use of key words across states, simplifying
searches and inter-state comparisons. For example, a search for "mortgage lender
disclosures" will produce a comprehensive listing of all relevant state documents,
even though the statutory and regulatory terminology may differ from state to state.
Now, from these summaries, users can link directly to the full text of each state law
and regulation cited.
"While many people in the mortgage business find the CCH Mortgage Compliance
Guide fully meets their needs, attorneys working in this field will especially
appreciate the ease with which the underlying statutory and regulatory text can be
retrieved," said Susan Berry, group publisher for CCH.
