CompTel Debuts On-Line Book Store Showcasing TRI Products & Publications
Washington, D.C., October 4, 1999
Telecommunications Reports International (TRI) and The Competitive Telecommunications
Association (CompTel) announced today that CompTel now provides a "virtual book
store" offering 20 percent discounts on TRI products through
CompTels web site as a new service for the associations 350+ member companies.
The on-line bookstore is being provided through a partnership with TRI, which publishes
the industry journal of record, Telecommunications Reports. As part of the Affinity
Program partnership with TRI, CompTel members receive a significant discount on TRI
products, including Telecommunications Reports. TRI's Affinity Program also offers
as a benefit to Association members weblinks and conference sponsorships and makes
available industry experts as speakers for Association conferences, as schedules permit.
"The on-line bookstore is a win-win for CompTel and its member companies and for
TRI," said H. Russell Frisby, Jr., CompTels President. "CompTel and its
members now have on-line access to the latest industry news and analyses, and TRI receives
valuable exposure to the leading competitive telecommunications service providers and
their suppliers."
