New CCH Journal Of Global Transfer Pricing Provides World-wide, World-class
Insight
(RIVERWOODS, ILL., February 3, 1999) When
companies put a price on their intra-mural, but
international transactions, they need to take a global
view, according to CCH INCORPORATED (CCH), a
leading provider of tax and business law and information.
To provide the broad perspective needed to create viable
transfer pricing regimes, CCH has introduced the CCH
Journal of Global Transfer Pricing, a bimonthly
journal offering practical solutions for professionals in
the field.
Written for those seeking a practical, real-world
application, the CCH Journal of Global Transfer
Pricing analyzes not only legal issues, but also the
economic underpinnings of successful transfer pricing
planning.
Subscribers will find guidance in developing effective
strategies for defending existing transfer pricing,
planning for the optimum location of intangible assets,
structuring effective advance pricing agreements,
creating effective global documentation for transfer
arrangements, eliminating potential penalties under
global transfer pricing rules and handling disputes with
appropriate authorities world-wide.
"The Journal is unique in its approach and
its global focus. Its coverage is especially well
balanced between economic and legal disciplines and
coverage of U.S. and overseas perspectives," said
Charles Ter Bush, marketing manager, CCH Federal and
State Tax Group.
Experts Ensure Relevance
Guiding the editorial content of the CCH Journal of
Global Transfer Pricing are two distinguished
co-editors in chief, representing the two crucial
disciplines in the field economics and tax
practice. Richard A. Clark, Ph.D. (economics), a
principal of Deloitte & Touche LLP, serves as
co-director of the firms National Transfer Pricing
Team, and has helped negotiate several advance pricing
agreements. Barbara Mantegani, JD, LLM (tax), is a
senior manager with the Transfer Pricing Group at the
National Tax Office of Deloitte & Touche LLP in
Washington, D.C.
Ensuring that the Journal of Global Transfer
Pricing is always on target in its global approach,
the Journal also will be guided by an advisory
board of 10 leading experts in the field
economists, accountants and lawyers who themselves shape
policy and provide leadership daily.
Five columnists, many of them advisory board members,
will provide ongoing insight into transfer pricing
controversies, the economics of transfer pricing and an
analysis of transfer pricing in various world regions.
Board members and columnists are:
- Charles Berry, Ph.D., Princeton
University, advisory board member
