CCH Business Owner’s Toolkitä Will Provide Access To Score Counselors. Alliance Gives Small Business Owners Wider Range of Authoritative Information, Support

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., December 15, 1998) – CCH INCORPORATED today announced that its CCH Business Owner’s Toolkit Internet site will expand its small business Internet service offerings through a national alliance with the SCORE Association (Service Corps of Retired Executives). As a result of the alliance, CCH Business Owner’s Toolkit will provide users with access to SCORE’s highly regarded business counselors from CCH’s popular web site (www.toolkit.cch.com).

The agreement allows both CCH Business Owner’s Tookit, a respected online resource for starting, running and growing a small business, and SCORE to increase both the range of content and services offered to small businesses in the United States.

In addition, CCH will make available to visitors of the SCORE web site (www.score.org) current, expert articles about all aspects of running a small business. Written by the same small business experts responsible for the award-winning CCH Business Owner’s Toolkit Internet site and acclaimed small business book series, these articles will provide easy-to-understand answers to difficult questions in the areas of general management, human resources, taxation, accounting and legal matters.

Visitors to the CCH Business Owner’s Toolkit web site also will be provided with e-mail access to the wisdom of SCORE’s business counselors. These experienced counselors help entrepreneurs make decisions based on new business climates and business regulations.
