History
- CCH, in its current form, was founded in 1913, the year the U.S.
federal income tax was created. However, the company’s roots go
back to 1892.

n CCH’s Tax Compliance unit
produces ProSystem fx Tax and related software used by
professionals for tax preparation, review, compilation, audit and
office productivity.
n In 2001, CCH joined
with sister company Aspen Publishers, Inc. to create an integrated and
comprehensive Destination Site for tax and accounting professionals in
North America. Tax.CCHGroup – tax.cchgroup.com – combines
the resources of the CCH Federal and State Tax Group, CCH Tax
Compliance and Aspen to facilitate the changing way accounting, legal
and financial and estate planning professionals work, serve their
clients, generate practice revenue and manage their businesses.

n CCH employs approximately 3,400
people in the U.S.
- This includes a 600-person editorial staff, most of whom are

and Chatsworth, Calif.; Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Wichita, Kan.; Atlanta
and Roswell, Ga.; St. Petersburg, Fla.; Acton, Mass., New York
