Workflow Ease, Sharepoint Integration, SQL Server 2012 Support and More

New CCH KnowledgeConnect™ integration with SharePoint – For customers who are SharePoint 2010 users, the new plug-in marries the two solutions together. KnowledgeConnect complements SharePoint by introducing unique knowledge management functionality such as formal Q&A Manager and discussion threads, Best Practices creation and dissemination, Expert Locator, Dynamic Profiling, Communities of Practice and business rules and approvals.

New ProSystem fx® Engagement 6.11 – The solution’s advanced functionality now makes it easier to collaborate with third parties. This latest version of Engagement enables users to share binder portfolios, send files from ProSystem fx® Portal to Engagement and also links Engagement and Portal clients together. Enhanced functionality with Adobe Acrobat® Microsoft® Word and Excel® formats provides greater efficiency in the management of workpapers. More effective tracking of engagements is also available through integration with ProSystem fx® Workstream and with sign-on capability when going between Engagement and the rest of the ProSystem fx Suite. Everything also comes on a new DVD release.

New ProSystem fx® Knowledge Coach enhancement 1.11 – Workpapers now open quicker and refresh even faster for maximum efficiency with typical improvements in speed of up to 25 percent. This updated version also features on-the-fly check-in, check-out and synchronization of workpapers as well as streamlined field-functionality through enhanced copy/paste, keyboard shortcut sign-off and more. Knowledge Coach and Engagement also support Microsoft Corp.’s SQL Server 2012 as well as SQL Server 2008.

New CCH Accounting Research Manager® (ARM) enhancements – Now ARM has an updated look and feel, starting with new navigation plus enhanced functionality for more efficient and faster research capabilities. Users can open documents in separate tabs for easier navigation, bookmark favorite locations for instant access upon logging in, access research history and enjoy greater ability to jump back-and-forth between documents without losing their place. It also enables text of CCH authored and SEC documents to be forwarded.
