ftwilliam.com Announces Release of DB EGTRRA Plan Document Software

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., May 17, 2010) – ftwilliam.com, a leading employee benefits software provider, announced today the release of its pre-approved EGTRRA volume submitter defined benefit plans. Defined benefit plans are now available in both an Adoption Agreement/Basic Plan Document format and an "individually designed" (contract) format. Each document includes a summary plan description, any necessary amendments and numerous forms. ftwilliam.com is part of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business, a leading provider of information and software solutions for pension, benefits, and tax law information and software for professionals (hr.cch.com).

The process to convert GUST plans to EGTRRA has been substantially improved for the Defined Benefit Plans. All checklist items (100 percent) will transfer to the EGTRRA checklist with just a few clicks. Users of the ftwilliam.com software also now have the ability to select all or a portion of plans for batch conversion at one time. The EGTRRA documents have more options and more flexibility than previously provided under GUST.

In addition to the batch conversion, ftwilliam.com also plans to have an upload available for GUST versions of other vendor plans (upload a GUST document and it will be converted to EGTRRA at the same time). ftwilliam.com has also improved its Help buttons within the checklist section of the software. All Help buttons will still take users to information for each checklist item, but now all checklist items will appear in a single window that users may print out as a "user guide" or scroll through. Also, ERISA 101(j) notice of benefit limitations will be added to the software in the near future.
