IRS Continues Partnership with CCH to Deliver Comprehensive Tax Research Solutions for IRS Researchers

Under recently awarded contracts, a wide range of CCH tax materials will be available on IRS desktops and laptops through the Internet and on CD-ROM.  The selection of CCH satisfies the IRS’ requirements of providing standardized, consistent, electronic research services to meet the agency’s electronic research needs with a suite of robust, authoritative, trusted and innovative services and solutions.

In addition to the CD-ROM product, CCH’s content was selected as a source of tax information as part of other contracts awarded by the IRS.

Under the contracts, 16,000 IRS Field Agents will have access to CCH analytical and source-document material through a customized CD-ROM library provided by CCH for use on their laptop computers, including the country’s most popular professional tax reference, the CCH U.S. Master Tax Guide®.

In addition, CCH will partner with LexisNexis to provide comprehensive federal, state, and international content to over 25,000 IRS researchers, including the CCH Standard Federal Tax Reporter®, Tax Research Consultant™, CCH Estate and Gift Tax Reporter and CCH U.S. Master Tax Guide. Also provided will be CCH materials on new tax legislation, exempt organizations, tax treaties, pension, payroll, S corporations, state tax, partnership tax, employee benefits, unemployment insurance and a wide range of CCH journals and newsletters.
