CCH Offers Comprehensive Worldwide Tax Rates and Answers: Emerging Markets

New Resource Provides Real-time Country Tax Rates, Tax Forms, Instruction in English; Quick Answers to Key Tax Questions; New BNA Tax Management Portfolios

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., December 10, 2007) – CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business and a leading provider of tax, audit and accounting information, software and services (CCHGroup.com) has expanded its coverage of taxes around the world with the release of Worldwide Tax Rates and Answers: Emerging Markets, a unique online tax compliance and research product for companies doing business in the key emerging countries around the world that provides real-time individual national and local tax rates, as well as tax forms and instructions in English and up-to-date answers to the most frequently encountered tax questions in each country. Another unique feature of the product is real-time legislative tracking that provides instant access to future tax rates. As part of this offer, users can also add BNA Tax Management Portfolios covering business operations in these countries.

This is the second component of CCH’s Worldwide Tax Rates and Answers line of products designed to bring tax professionals the most current individual country tax information available.

Worldwide Tax Rates and Answers: Emerging Markets presents vital, easy-to-access tax information for 12 important growing economies: China, India,  Mexico,  Russia, Brazil, South Africa, Israel, Argentina, Taiwan, Chile, Vietnam and Korea.

“Given the rigorous requirements of SOX and FIN 48, multinational companies are under increased pressure to have both up-to-date and historical cross-border information,” said Mark Friedlich, who leads international tax development for CCH. “We recognized this need for real-time updating of corporate income, VAT and withholding tax rates, legislative tracking to cover future rate changes, tax forms and instructions in English and a rolling three-year archive of historical rates, as well as thousands of answers to common tax questions with Worldwide Tax Rates and Answers: Europe earlier this year, and now we expand that coverage into another dozen hot markets around the world. The BNA Business Operations Abroad Portfolios also provide more in-depth information, analysis and tax planning, enhancing a user’s research.”

Smart Charts™ for Quick Answers

Worldwide Tax Rates and Answers: Emerging Markets uses Smart Chart™ technology that allows users to quickly access rates and get answers to key tax questions in each of the countries, presented in chart format for easy comparisons across jurisdictions. It provides real-time national and local tax rates, current tax forms and instructions in English, plus specific answers to key country tax compliance issues updated every month. It is prepared and maintained by tax experts located in each of the countries.
