CCH Seminars for Accountants Focus on Improving Workflow, Maximizing Profitability

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., June 7, 2007) – Industry experts including Gary Boomer will share their insights and practical advice on “ Improving Workflow to Maximize Profitability,” a three-hour seminar for accounting firms being held around the country by CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business and a leading provider of tax and accounting information, software and services (CCHGroup.com). To register for a session at any one of over 30 sites across the nation, professionals should call 1-866-458-5121, or visit CCHGroup.com/Seminars.

Participants will earn 3 CPE credits as they learn how to increase their bottom line by improving workflow in the key areas of preparing tax returns and financial statements and in billing and collections. In addition, they’ll get the latest insights on topics such as recruiting and retaining valued team members, maximizing the return on their training investments, the second wave of sourcing, how to address risk assessment standards, content management, client portals, identifying tax planning opportunities and the impact of Microsoft® Office 2007 and Windows Vista™.

“Accountants are increasingly challenged to do more, in less time, with a greater return on their investments in people and technology,” said Ray Barlow, CCH Vice President of Sales. “In these seminars, accountants have the opportunity to learn from some of the brightest minds in the business just how they can meet that challenge and improve their bottom line by making their workflows more efficient and their employees more productive.”
