Distribution Agreement Between CCH and CourseAvenue Provides Improved Access of E-Learning Compliance Training to Healthcare Professionals Nationwide

(WARRENVILLE AND RIVERWOODS, ILL., May 16, 2007) – CourseAvenue, the leader in Learning Content Authoring Systems (LCAS) and learning integration services, is pleased to announce that they will begin distributing healthcare compliance courses written by experts at CCH. CCH, a part of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business, is a leading provider of research products and software solutions in key specialty areas for legal and business professionals. This distribution agreement has enabled CourseAvenue to build their new eComply for Healthcare Series of eLearning courseware, providing healthcare professionals across the country improved access to over 100 CCH healthcare compliance courses.

Healthcare organizations will also have the unique ability to customize CCH’s off-the-shelf compliance courseware, incorporating their organization’s look and feel, complete with logo, color schemes, and navigational elements, into the eLearning courseware.

“One of the biggest drawbacks for healthcare professionals to deploying online compliance training is the inflexible and expensive methods of customizing content with their own policies and procedures,” said Joe Gorup, CEO of CourseAvenue. “CourseAvenue provides the option of purchasing training content with the ability to add customized content directly into the course.”

Through CourseAvenue’s hybrid development approach, research and information providers such as CCH will be able to identify specific elements of off-the-shelf courses as consumer editable, allowing specific content to be tailored to an organization’s individual needs.  A typical example of this type of consumer editable content is a case study.  CourseAvenue’s eComply for Healthcare Series of compliance courseware provides generic case studies with the ability to replace it with another that fits an organization’s unique conditions or experiences .

According to Katherine Kerpan, acquisition editor for Wolters Kluwer Law & Business, “CCH is excited to partner with CourseAvenue, a company at the forefront of eLearning innovation. The agreement reinforces CCH’s leadership in providing authoritative solutions to healthcare professionals to help them keep current with compliance requirements with ease and confidence.”

This important agreement reached between CCH and CourseAvenue ensures healthcare organizations that up-to-date compliance training is available to their employees in an online format that easily integrates directly into their learning management systems.  The courseware will also be available through national healthcare training distributors of eLearning courseware.  Contact CourseAvenue at www.courseavenue.com for more information.
