Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting Names Tennola to Lead Business Development

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., April 18, 2007) – Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting (WK TAA), a global leader in providing tax and accounting law information, software and services, has named Paul Tennola as Vice President of Business Development.

Tennola will focus on the continued implementation of Wolters Kluwer’s strategic plans for best serving tax and accounting professionals worldwide by finding new market opportunities and successfully managing business development activities throughout WK TAA’s four businesses: CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business; CCH Asia Pacific; CCH Small Firm Services; and CCH Canadian.

Tennola has 19 years experience in business development, merger and acquisitions, finance and strategic planning. Throughout his career, he has held a series of positions leading different business processes to help drive top performance. Prior to joining WK TAA, Tennola served as Business Development Group Vice President for SunGard Data Systems, where he was responsible for directing all partnership and merger and acquisition activities.

As the Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer of DerivaTech, Inc., Tennola led strategic development activities, including planning, budgeting, process and organizational improvements, as well as directedoperations, financial, treasury, information technology, legal, human resources and administrative functions. He also served as a Vice President at GE Financial where he directed all business development activities.

A long-time resident of the Midwest, Tennola is a graduate of Indiana University, with a bachelor of science degree in finance. He also is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
