New State Taxation CPE Library Added to CCH Learning Center

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., May 18, 2006) – CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business and a leading provider of tax and accounting information, CPE courses, productivity software and services, has added the new State Taxation Specialty Library to the CCH Learning Center. The CCH Learning Center (cch.learningcenter.com) is the CPE portal that provides access to an extensive web-based library of more than 200 interactive, self-study continuing professional education (CPE) courses on a wide range of topics totaling more than 575 hours of CPE credit. The CCH Learning Center offers a variety of libraries and product offerings to meet a range of practice area and CPE needs for tax and accounting professionals. The Specialty Libraries are a series of offerings that include in-depth coverage of specific topics dealing with Accounting and Audit, Sales and Use, Tax Return Preparation—and, now, State Taxation.

“This new library allows professionals the timely coverage, current information and in-depth analysis they need to stay a step ahead of important state tax issues while they meet their continuing professional education requirements,” said Cynthia Kaplan, CCH product manager.

The CCH State Taxation Specialty Library provides guidance through significant laws, regulations, decisions and issues affecting state taxation. The Library includes more than 25 engaging web-based self-study courses worth more than 60 CPE credits. Written by top experts in the field, these courses provide insight on important or emerging state tax issues, and analyze their impact on compliance and planning.

The courses include links to sources of additional information within the CCH® Tax Research NetWork™ (TRN).* Each course also provides insightful supplementary articles with additional information on the course topic; and integrated exercises, review questions and practice tools to help professionals apply the knowledge they gain. Special package pricing is available for all TRN subscribers.
