Miller Accounting and Auditing Titles to Be Renamed, Adopting CCH Brand

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., February 28, 2006) – CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business and a leading provider of tax, accounting and audit information, software and services announced today that its premier line of Miller accounting and auditing books and update services will adopt the CCH brand identity and will no longer carry the Miller brand (CCHGroup.com). Everything else about these relied-upon resources will remain the same.

“This is another step in CCH’s overall branding strategy to more closely align our tax, accounting and audit products under the CCH identity, providing our customers with a clear view of the breadth and depth of solutions we offer to help them be most successful in their practices,” said CCH Product Manager Elice Webster.

CCH, which has significantly expanded this line of accounting and auditing books, currently publishes more than two dozen Miller titles, including such market leaders as the Miller GAAP Guide Level A and the Miller GAAS Guide. The Miller name will be retired from each of these titles and the CCH name will be more prominently displayed throughout 2006 as new editions are released. For example, the Miller Governmental GAAP Update Service will become the Governmental GAAP Update Service, published by CCH. The Miller titles available on the CCH Tax Research NetWork and CCH’s Accounting Research Manager® will adopt the CCH brand in the third quarter of 2006.

Customers will be informed of the changes through a series of communications, which will be sent to them with products and in separate mailings.

The Miller line was transferred from Aspen Publishers to become part of the CCH portfolio of tax, accounting and auditing products in 2003. Aspen and CCH are Wolters Kluwer businesses, and are part of the Wolters Kluwer Tax, Accounting & Legal Division.
