CCH, Aspen Now Offer Premium Securities Content in Single Online Source – Federal Securities Regulation Integrated Library

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., April 27, 2004) – Attorneys working in the field of securities regulation now have a one-stop electronic resource for all their research and practice needs. The Federal Securities Regulation Integrated Library from CCH INCORPORATED (CCH) combines trusted, authoritative analytical materials, research tools and news from both CCH and Aspen Publishers in a convenient, comprehensive, online environment. CCH and Aspen are Wolters Kluwer companies.

"We’ve brought authoritative primary source materials from CCH, such as the Federal Securities Law Reporter, together with definitive Aspen treatises, such as Loss and Seligman’s Securities Regulation. In the Internet environment, the publications interact with each other, enabling our customers to research a treatise and link directly into a referenced case or rule," said product manager Lucy Smith.

Integrated Environment

"The publications we have selected for this library are the first choice of professionals in this field, and it makes sense to have them all available in an integrated environment, that gives our customers one-step access," said Smith.

The primary source materials, treatises and news/current awareness publications all appear in a common interface, with a link to the SECnet system.

Citations to primary sources are linked to the full text of the source documents and researchers are able to search across the entire library or any parts of it they designate.

"We didn’t just want to create e-books," Smith said. "The linkage between the different types of resources is the key to making this a comprehensive solution to our customers."

Subscribers also can customize their "Securities Compliance Tracker" news service to automatically search each day’s new developments for items of special interest and create an individualized news release, with optional e-mail delivery.
