CCH to Deliver Integrated Business Performance Tools

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., March 12, 2004) CCH INCORPORATED (CCH), a leading provider of tax and accounting information and software, will introduce two new applications for CCH’s ProSystem fx® Office suite of workflow tools. ProSystem fx® Practice Driver enables professionals to analyze and improve their own practices, while ProSystem fx® Profit Driver makes it possible to analyze and improve their clients' businesses.

The new strategic tools will enable professional firms and corporations to improve their performance, making dynamic use of existing data to analyze their business, identify new opportunities, zero in on critical performance drivers and chart specific steps to improvement. As a result, professionals can strengthen client relationships and expand revenue.

"These new applications make data dynamic," said Mike Sabbatis, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CCH. "Suddenly, you can see what makes your practice – or your client’s business – tick and how to make it better. It becomes easy to answer what-if questions or to see exactly what you’ll have to change in order to reach a strategic goal."

CCH has partnered with Australian software firm Inmatrix to deliver Profit Driver and Practice Driver. "We’re excited to be working with a leading company such as CCH to make business simple, understandable and more profitable for professionals and their client companies across the U.S." said Dale Smorgon, Head of Channels Distribution of Inmatrix.

Eye-Opening Applications

The new CCH applications allow professionals to perform ‘what if’ and goal-seeking functions, prepare detailed financial diagnostic reports, create projections, test scenarios and discover business solutions by interpreting profit and loss, cash flow and balance sheet data.

  • ProSystem fx Practice Driver is a strategic practice management tool that makes time-and-billing information come alive, giving users a dynamic view of what's working and what isn't in their practices, what has to change and by how much to realize opportunities, avoid pitfalls and achieve goals. Practice Driver imports data from ProSystem fx Practice and other major time-and-billing software applications, as well as data in spreadsheet form.
  • ProSystem fx Profit Driver is a financial diagnostic and analytical solution that transforms client data into an interactive strategic planning tool, enabling professionals to instantly show their clients the outcomes of what-if scenarios and develop detailed plans for reaching goals. Profit Driver integrates with both ProSystem fx Engagement and ProSystem fx Tax, as well as data in spreadsheet form.

"These exciting new applications allow professionals to strengthen relationships with their clients, seamlessly extend value-added services using existing data, and fine tune their own operations for maximum performance," Sabbatis said. "They are real eye-openers."

Additional Information

ProSystem fx Practice Driver and Profit Driver will be available in the second quarter of 2004, with pricing to be announced. To receive more information about these applications, as it becomes available, visit tax.cchgroup.com/drivers.
