New Capital Changes Daily Website Offers Expanded Information, Functionality

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., February 19, 2003) – CCH INCORPORATED (CCH) has launched a new Capital Changes Daily web site – cap.cch.com – offering a single, comprehensive source for CCH capital changes information to help users get timely, authoritative answers quickly. The consolidated site will replace the separate Capital Changes Daily (business.cch.com/ccd) and ADR Global Capital Changes Daily (business.cch.com/ccd_global) web sites.

The new site offers a wide range of content and tools, enhanced by search functions that help you target and find the specific information you need. Powerful new search options help you find precise information easily, offering searches by: Company Name, CUSIP® Number, Word or Phrase, Publication Date, Transaction Date, Corporate Action Code, as well as Taxability Status.

The new site also offers expanded features, information and functionality, ensuring that users are up-to-date on new developments and always informed of important information related to transactions.

• Today’s Transactions gives you convenient, up-to-the-minute links to a list of all the current day’s transactions.

• The Search Results Table, in a detailed columnar format, lists dates, company name, CUSIP and a headline, which gives you a summary of the related transaction. Users just click on the column heading to change the sort order of the table.

• When reviewing search results, Previous and Next buttons allow you to go from transaction to transaction using previous and next buttons to save time.

• Alert and ADR/Global Symbols offer exclamation points that denote the latest update to a previously published transaction. A global symbol indicates which transactions are related to ADR/Global companies.

• Hotlinks/Mouseovers lets you see definitions of Transaction and Taxability Codes in the matrix of a story.

• Page Sensitive Help answers questions faster, by providing guidance on functions specific to the page on which you are currently working.

• Quicksearch gives you the freedom to search directly from the home page when you need a specific transaction fast.

Subscribers to Capital Changes Daily and ADR/Global Capital Changes Daily will find the new site offers the additional convenience of offering both Capital Changes Daily and ADR/Global Capital Changes on the same site, so you can access both services from a single source. Customers who subscribe to one of these services will have access to that segment only, but will benefit from the new features and functionality the enhanced single site offers.

The new site will replace the two separate site previously offered. Through March 15, current users have the option of using the new site, or continuing to visit the site they now use. After March 15, only the new single site will be available.
