Latest ProSystem fx Releases Provide Expanded Integration Capabilities

This paperless binder system now has a "Quiklink" feature that speeds data transfer and workflows. Once the trial balance has been imported into ProSystem fx Tax, any new "last minute" changes are automatically transferred from Engagement to Tax, seamlessly updating the client’s tax return.

In addition, to further streamline the setup and review process, the Quiklink feature allows instantaneous transfer from a field on the tax return to the corresponding grouping code line in ProSystem fx Engagement, and from the grouping code line in Engagement to the corresponding field in the tax return.

The latest version of the Fixed Assets module provides users the choice of appending or overlaying asset and depreciation information when importing data into a tax return. In addition, users can import Fixed Assets data from multiple clients into a single ProSystem fx Tax return – even selecting and importing into the return as a group – making preparation of consolidated returns quicker and easier.

The latest release of ProSystem fx Practice allows users to launch clocks from within ProSystem fx Tax in order to track time spent working on tax returns, easily convert elapsed time into a billable transaction, and export the tax engagement invoice amount from ProSystem fx Tax to ProSystem fx Practice - streamlining the billing process and eliminating the need to re-key data.

Users can also launch a client inquiry from within ProSystem fx Tax and obtain a wealth of client information while working on the client’s tax return.
