NYSSCPA Members Will Receive Discounts On Popular CCH Products

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., February 28, 2000) – CCH INCORPORATED (CCH), a leading provider of tax and business law information and software, said today that it has signed an agreement with the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) to provide member discounts on two of the company’s popular tax research products and an authoritative new journal for those representing clients before the IRS.

Under the agreement with the NAEA, CCH will provide association members with a 10-percent discount on all new subscriptions to Internet and CD-ROM versions of CCH U.S. Master Tax Guide Plus® (http://tax.cchgroup.com/mtgplus) and CCH Tax Essentials™ (http://tax.cchgroup.com/taxessentials), an Internet-based product. The authoritative and timely resources were specifically designed to meet the desktop needs of small firms and the general tax practitioner.

In addition, NAEA members can receive the discount on subscriptions to the CCH Journal of Tax Practice and Procedure.

"CCH is pleased to be able to provide NAEA members with three professional resources at favorable prices," said Kevin Robert, publisher, Federal and State Tax group. "It’s a nice added benefit of NAEA membership and provides affordable access to high-quality research tools designed with enrolled agents in mind."

CCH U.S. Master Tax Guide Plus

Built around the country’s most popular desktop tax reference, CCH U.S. Master Tax Guide Plus also contains thousands of primary-source documents including the Internal Revenue Code; Final, Temporary and Proposed Regulations; Revenue Rulings and Revenue Procedures; IRS Announcements; IRS Notices; MSSPs and ISPs; IRS Publications; Letter Rulings and Technical Advice Memoranda; Circular 230; and the IRS Penalties Handbook, as well as an extensive library of tax cases.

CCH Tax Essentials

CCH TaxEssentials, launched in the fall of 1999, features explanations and practice aids drawn from the trusted CCH Federal Tax Guide, as well as the same set of primary documents found in CCH U.S. Master Tax Guide Plus. In addition, users may supplement their subscription with interactive federal forms or federal and state forms on CD-ROM.

CCH Journal of Tax Practice and Procedure

CCH Journal of Tax Practice and Procedure is a new journal that offers practical, timely analysis of current issues and trends in the representation of taxpayers before the IRS, from initial contact through litigation. The Journal emphasizes taxpayer advocacy and the protection of taxpayer and representative rights, analyzes legislative and regulatory changes and highlights industry shifts that present taxpayer representation issues.
