Plaistowe Joins Wolters Kluwer U.S. As EVP, New VP Of Finance For CCH INCORPORATED Also Named

(CHICAGO, March 24, 1999) –– Wolters Kluwer U.S. (WKUS) said today that it has named Norman H. Plaistowe to the position of executive vice president. In addition, the publishing company said Douglas M. Winterrose will join CCH INCORPORATED, a WKUS company, as vice president of finance. Both appointments are effective April 1, 1999.

Plaistowe currently is CFO of CCH INCORPORATED (CCH), Riverwoods, Ill., a leading provider of tax and business law information and software. In his new position, he’ll be responsible for accounting, budgeting, administration and human resources activities for Wolters Kluwer U.S. In addition, he'll direct strategic projects and provide management support for the company’s North American and United Kingdom businesses.

A 17-year veteran of CCH, Plaistowe held a number of finance positions with the company, including controller. Prior to CCH, he was vice president of finance with Brinderson Corporation, and a partner with Schluter & Ravin Certified Public Accountants.

A resident of Hawthorn Woods, Ill., Plaistowe is a certified public accountant, and a graduate of California State University at Northridge.

Winterrose joins CCH from Productivity Point International, Hinsdale, Ill., where he was regional finance director. His career includes previous positions with CCH, including assistant controller and manager of internal audit.

A certified public accountant, he is a graduate of St. Norbert College. Winterrose is a resident of Addison, Ill.
