Lisa Franke is a workplace analyst with over 15 years of experience tracking and analyzing human resources and employment law trends. She is the lead editor of two publications within CCH’s flagship HR Management Library, the HR Practices Guide and the Compensation Guide, and is a contributing editor for CCH’s HRAnswersNow® research product. Franke has written extensively for various publications and is the author of the book HR Networking: Performance Management. In addition, she has developed and analyzed surveys covering a broad range of workplace issues, including absenteeism, salary competitiveness, work-life benefits, organizational culture and employee attitudes. Prior to joining CCH, Franke held a series of human resources positions involving compensation, performance management, staffing and employee relations. Tulay Turan is an attorney and employee benefits analyst who tracks and analyzes employee benefits-related laws, issues and trends. She is the coordinating editor of Employee Benefits ManagementDirections, a CCH newsletter that addresses new developments in the benefits arena. Turan also is the co-author of HR How To: Flexible Benefit Plans, a CCH book on implementing and administering flexible benefit plans. Turan provides expert insight and analysis on a variety of employee benefits-related topics.

Paul Gibson is Vice President, Business Compliance publishing for CCH INCORPORATED, a provider of human resources and business law information and software.
