Avram L. Sacks, an attorney, is the primary analyst for Wolters Kluwer Law & Business on Social Security law. His expertise covers an extensive range of Social Security issues, including taxation under FICA and SECA, who is covered under the Social Security Act and subject to the tax, employer obligations, filing requirements and more. Before joining Wolters Kluwer Law & Business, Sacks represented claimants as a private practitioner, and was the Social Security Administration’s Assistant Regional Counsel for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He offers unbiased insight into complex Social Security law and its application for hundreds of millions of Americans.
